On September 7th, 2008 we went to Silkeborg for the dog show …

Pictures of our dogs one fine day in February 2008.
On the first day of this year we took a few pictures of the dogs, and some with the cats on them too. I also added a few pictures of a trip we made on January 12th to the beach at Rømø. The dogs got to pull the mountain bike, and afterwards they ran up and down the dunes with the four of us. We had a blast!
The weekend of 24th and 25th November, 2007, we went to Sletten, close to Silkeborg, Denmark, to be part of the European Championship Cart 2007, where the participants were competing to become this years European champions in different categories within sled dog racing. Gert Kronholm, the breeder where we got our dogs, participated with 8 dog cart. On Sunday we went back bringing our dogs Pusjkin and Jaimie. Pusjkin was very excited and obviously wanted to participate, but this is going to have to wait until we get our own sled or cart. Pusjkin was a familiar face to many of the Siberian Husky owners present. They recognized her and came over to say hello. We now know a few more people and know who some of Pusjkins relatives live with. It was very nice to get to know you all ;o) Some of the visitors were Cheda and Lilia from Moscow who are the owners of Cloud and Yuko - both are babies after Pusjkin. We also met Pusjkins sister, Polaris, who very different from Pusjkin is all white. All in all our dogs, the boys, Erik and I had a wonderful weekend, with exciting and interesting sports, dogs and their owners. Thanks to Gert and Birthe Kronholm for taking good care of us and letting the boys pet aaaallllll their dogs aaaallllll the time ;o)
Below we have more pictures. Those pictures from the training with the dogs in Nørlund close to Ikast. Erik learned a lot about the sport and seems to have found a new hobby. Pusjkin got to run lead when I joined Gert Kronholm on the cart. Pusjkin obviously loves this. But when we got home she fell a sleep in front of the fireplace immediately :o)
